2025 Social Security Trustee Report Analysis - Part 2

Continuing my special mini-series, today I take a deep dive into how the Social Security Trust Fund really works, using a sink as an analogy of revenues coming into the fund (water from the faucet) and benefits going out (water going down the drain). We either need to increase revenues - like a 3.9 % increase to payroll taxes - or reduce benefits - like raising the retirement age to 70. Or a combination of both. Watch here:
