- Medicare Advantage Plan is run by Medicare-approved, private insurance companies. Medicare Advantage includes all the benefits and services covered under Part A and Part B, may cover extra benefits and services for an added cost, and usually includes prescription drug coverage (Medicare Part D). 
- Medicare Part D is prescription drug coverage. 
Plans may have lower out-of-pocket costs than Original Medicare.
In most cases, you'll need to use doctors who are in the plan's network.
Sometimes called "Part C" – includes both Part A (Hospital Insurance) and Part B (Medical Insurance).

- How much does it cost? - Some Medicare Advantage plans charge a monthly premium, some are $0 premium (in addition to your monthly Part B premium). - You may pay a copayment or coinsurance for covered services. Many MA plans offer vision, hearing, and dental coverage. Costs, extra coverage, and rules vary by plan. - Plans have a yearly limit on your out-of-pocket costs. Once you reach a certain limit, you’ll pay nothing for covered services for the rest of the year. - Your out-of-pocket costs may be lower in an MA plan.
